funerals
“I am the Resurrection and the life;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”
— John 11:25

At St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish, we understand that selecting a final place of rest for your loved one can be very stressful and difficult. The first step is to contact your funeral home of choice, who will then contact our parish directly and together walk with you through the funeral arrangements.

As Catholics, we believe in the dignity of each person, the importance of Baptism, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, the promise of Eternal Life, and the celebration of the Eucharist as God's great sacrificial act of Love and Thanksgiving for our salvation. To aid in your decision and provide hope, comfort, and peace of mind, we offer two places for your loved one's eternal rest - our St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery located six miles East of our Church in Rogers, AR, or our Columbarium in the West garden of our Church. Both places offer quiet reflection, devotion, meditation, and prayers for the faithful departed. When you choose our Cemetery or Columbarium, you are laid to rest with people who share the same faith, traditions and heritage.

The St. Vincent de Paul Columbarium is a special place on the Church grounds for the interment of ashes of deceased Church members and their immediate families. Constructed in an octagonal design with the same stone and granite as the Church's Baptismal Font and Altar, the Columbarium extends the worship space outdoors, serving as a vivid reminder that the Church is part of life from birth to death. A sacred place of reflection, remembrance, and prayer, family and friends of the deceased who visit have the opportunity to participate in the Sacrament of the Eucharist, celebrated every day in the Church.
