Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Community is located in Rogers, a city of over 60,000 in the center of the larger metropolitan area of Northwest Arkansas. NWA includes Fayetteville, Springdale, Lowell, Rogers, Bentonville and Bella Vista, and is home to the University of Arkansas and home offices for Wal-Mart, Tyson, J.B. Hunt and more.
SVdP is home to more than 5,200 families, or 18,000 parishioners boasting a wonderful blend of Anglo, Hispanic and Vietnamese cultures. Our parish is home to 20 percent of the Rogers population.
Our Catholic Community facilities include our church, school, SVdP Hall, Rectory, and Food Pantry. They encompass two city blocks. Our church, completed in 2003, includes a Worship Space that accommodates 1,500 people, a Word Chapel, Guadalupe Chapel and Eucharist Chapel with Perpetual Adoration. The church also has a large Gathering Space, parish offices and kitchen.
Our SVdP Catholic School has classes in the grades of pre-K through 8th with over 375 students. The school gym and cafeteria are also used for many parish events. Take a moment to learn more about Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
Our SVdP Hall is the old church building built in the early ‘60s, which includes the main hall, blue room, upper room and kitchen. Many parish activities and ministries use this facility.
Our rectory, the priests’ home, is located off the parish grounds and has rooms for three priests, a main communal living room, dining room and kitchen.
Our Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, located across the street from the parish grounds, is run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and serves the poor in Benton County. Open four days each week, the pantry relies on volunteers and donations from parishioners, as well as businesses and organizations in the local area. Our pantry also features a large vegetable garden run by volunteers that provides fresh produce to the pantry.
